Best Selling Author of Religious and Liturgical Fiction
Hey y'all, I thought I would include a little information about my self, in case anyone's interested. I am a Christian (which makes sense because my books are Christian Fiction) and I'm a graduate of Spelman College in Atlanta, GA. I've completed my Master's Degree in Business Entertainment and I'm currently working on the next book in the GOOD NEWS SERIES, along with a few other projects.
I was raised by my mom, in and around Washington, D.C. in a good Baptist Church, before moving to Atlanta for College. Some time during my last year of under-grad, I developed a relationship with God for myself. For the record, I love the LORD and couldn't imagine living my life without him.
If anyone was wondering whether God still speaks today, I want to say that He absolutely does and He wants desperately to get closer to YOU. Just ask Him.
For anyone wondering where the idea for the book series came from, it all started with ENOUGH GOOD NEWS. I was on a business trip several years ago in California (where I was born) and, as I was waiting at the airport to board my flight, an announcement was made over the P.A. system for Andrea McKay to pick up the courtesy phone.
For some reason, people have had a hard time saying "Audrey" for most of my life and I've pretty much learned to answer to anything that starts with an "A" and has an "R" and a "D" in it. Well, I got up to make sure they weren't calling for me (they weren't) but it got me to thinking...What if? What if I actually had a sister I never knew about. Add an active imagination and, voila' a book was born. Add my love of God and a pinch more of imagination and the series was soon to follow. So, that's it in a nutshell but feel free to ask any questions on the Contact Page. (Labeled COME SAY HI)
Finally, I just wanted to say that I know the last few years have been rough on more than a few of us, but I want to remind you that we have an everlasting hope that can not be driven away or diminished. I've tried to convey that hope in my novels as well as add a few bible verses to remind us that this world is our temporary home. I believe we can live for Christ and enjoy ourselves at the same time. My books are that belief in written form. I hope you enjoy reading them.
By the way, I would be happy to speak to your group in person or by Skype.
God Bless You!
